Mother Kelley's Home Cooking has been a staple in Texarkana, Arkansas since it opened. Serving up classic, Southern dishes like chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and delicious homemade desserts is their specialty.

Owned and operated by Shelia Sutton, Mother Kelley’s is named after Sutton’s grandmother Gertrude Kelley (a.k.a. “Mother”). Sutton has continued to serve up some of her family’s favorite recipes, and she’s brought the same atmosphere from family dinners into her restaurant.
