Dog-Friendly Patios in Texarkana, Arkansas

Here in Texarkana, Arkansas, we’re not afraid to let the city go to the dogs. We’ve got plenty of parks that are dog-friendly, but you may not know that we also have several restaurants in the city with dog-friendly patios. Here are some restaurants on our side of the state line that we like to frequent with our pups!

Fat Jack’s Oyster and Sports Bar

Fat Jack’s is known for serving up great food and creating community, and that extends to furry friends as well. Stop by for a burger and bring your dog with you to enjoy their patio! Find out why Fat Jack’s has been a Texarkana staple for so many years and see when you should stop by here.

Hopkins Icehouse

Located in the The Rail Yard entertainment district, Hopkins Icehouse used to be the Roy D. Hopkins Feed Store. Now, guests can enjoy one of their gourmet burgers or grab a slice of pizza and anything in between! Find out when you and your dog can enjoy their patio and learn more about the icehouse here.

La Fogata

With a more laid-back atmosphere, La Fogata’s patio is a great place to bring your dog when you want to chill. Located away from the bustle of downtown, this restaurant is the perfect escape for you and your pup! You can find La Fogata’s address and phone number here.

Starbucks

While the Starbucks in Texarkana isn’t technically a local restaurant, they still have a patio that’s perfect for you and your pup. Plus, their free Puppuccinos (whipped cream in a cup) make a great treat for your dog! You can find more info here.

Three Chicks Feed, Seed, & Cafe

Connected to a feed store, Three Chicks Cafe serves up an amazing array of sandwiches, tacos, and more. You and your dog will have a chance to meet the group of farm animals that frequents their patio, and you can stop by the feed store to look around after you eat! There’s more info about Three Chicks here.

Whether you’re chowing down on a classic burger or craving some fajitas, these places offer the best of both worlds for you and your dog. Their patios are perfect for hanging out with your friends-- whether human or furry.

But we’re not done yet. Texarkana also has some great food trucks, and the best part is that you can grab a bite to-go and bring your dog along, too! Here are a couple of food trucks that we recommend trying out.

RazorDog Hotdogs

If you’re looking for a fun place to grab a hot dog, look no further than RazorDog! This food truck is usually parked downtown, which makes it great for grabbing something to go. Get the latest updates on their Facebook page and see when they’re open.

Rieki Hibachi and Sushi on Wheels

Parked at 1308 Arkansas Boulevard, Rieki is serving up sushi and other delicious dishes. You can call ahead and order for pickup or place your order when you get there, but either way this food truck is perfect for getting food to go! Find out when you and your dog can visit and check out their Facebook page here.

Give these restaurants and food trucks a try and let us know which one your dog loves the most.

P.S. If you’re a cat person, we hear that Pop’s Place has a cat-friendly patio. They have live music and great food, so check them out here
