Fall 2023 Events in TXK

Now that it’s officially fall, it’s time to ring in the season. There are plenty of great ways to celebrate in Texarkana, Arkansas, so grab your friends and family and enjoy fall in the city!

From live music to rodeos to delicious food, here’s a list of upcoming events to help you plan some fun adventures for the next few months.

Downtown Live

Mark your calendars: Downtown Live is happening on 10/13, 11/10, and 12/08. Head to Broad Street to enjoy a night of live art and music paired with food and drinks from your favorite downtown restaurants! Bring the whole family and, since some participating businesses are located off Broad Street, be sure to explore all of downtown to get the full experience.

Oktoberfest on the Line

Main Street Texarkana’s Oktoberfest on the Line is back for another year! Head to downtown Texarkana on 10/14 from 1-9 p.m. and enjoy live entertainment, delicious food, and fun games. King George: A George Strait Tribute Band @ Whiskey River Country

Listening to live music is always a great way to spend the weekend, and King George: A George Strait Tribute and Dance Band is taking the stage at Whiskey River Country on 10/14. The music starts at 9:00 p.m., and you can purchase tickets here. Learn more on Whiskey River Country’s Facebook page.

For the Sake of One Hope Banquet

For the Sake of One is hosting its annual Hope Banquet at the Crossties Event Venue on 10/19 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Ryan North is the event speaker, and tickets are available here. Visit For the Sake of One’s Facebook page for more about the event.

An Evening With the Phantom: Dinner Theatre

The 1923 Banana Club is putting on An Evening With the Phantom: Dinner Theatre on 10/20-10/21 and 10/27-10/28. Experience the haunting tale of the Texarkana Phantom Killer while enjoying dinner and drinks. Meal tickets are $30 excluding drinks and gratuity and are available here. HONEY Live @ Whiskey River Country

The band HONEY, a.k.a. Heather Linn and the Deacons, is taking the stage at Whiskey River Country on 10/20 from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. They’ll be playing a mix of country, Southern rock, and original songs all night long. More info is available here.

Indoor Yard Sale @ the Four States Fairgrounds

Calling all thrift lovers! There’s an indoor yard sale at the Four States Fairgrounds on 10/21. Learn more on the Four States Fair and Rodeo’s website.

Wyatt Putman Single Release Party @ Whiskey River Country

Want to help Wyatt Putman celebrate his newest single? Join the party at Whiskey River Country on 10/21 from 10 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $10 and more information is available here.

Big Daddy Weave @ Trinity Baptist Church

Big Daddy Weave’s Heaven is Everything Tour is making a stop in Texarkana, AR, on 10/22. Get your tickets to see the band in concert at Trinity Church from 7-10 p.m. and learn more about the concert here.

Whiskey River Halloween Party with Dusty Rose Band

Whiskey River Country is throwing a Halloween party on 10/28 at 10 p.m., with live music from Dusty Rose Band. There will be a costume contest with prizes, so grab your friends for some adult Halloween fun! Learn more here.

Candy Cane Corral Christmas Bazaar

Everyone’s favorite holiday shopping event is back at the Four States Fairgrounds on 11/04 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Small businesses, local boutiques, and more vendors will have all kinds of merchandise on display, so you’re sure to find great gifts for all your friends and family members! 14th Annual Gathering of Authors

The 14th Annual Gathering of Authors benefitting Greater Texarkana Autism Awareness is at Circle J Cowboy Church on 11/04 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring the whole family to meet 26 authors, participate in fun games and activities, and even win door prizes! Universal Vibe Health, Wellness, and Music Festival

If music festivals are your scene, be sure to check out the Universal Vibe Health, Wellness, and Music Festival on 11/04 from noon to 10 p.m. The festival will have enriching workshops for adults and fun activities for kids at the Front Street Plaza in downtown Texarkana, AR, along with live music for everyone. Explore the lineup of 75 different vendors and discover tasty treats from local food trucks. More information is available on the festival’s website.

Sunset Strip 80s Tribute Live @ Fat Jack’s

Ready to go back to the 80s? Sunset Strip is prepared to rock the stage at Fat Jack’s with the best of 80s metal on 11/04 starting at 8 p.m. You can get tickets for $15 and learn more about the event here.

30th Annual Taste of Texarkana

Taste of Texarkana is returning on 11/07! Head to the Four States Fairgrounds from 5-8 p.m. to enjoy food and drinks from local restaurants and vendors. Tickets start at $10 for children and $25 for adults and can be purchased here. Click here to learn more about the event.

Mistletoe Market

Want to get ahead on your holiday shopping? The Junior League of Texarkana’s Mistletoe Market is happening at the Arkansas Convention Center from 11/09-11/11, with a Jingle & Mingle event on 11/09 and a Mistletoe & Mimosas event on 11/10. Case Hardin Live @ Whiskey River Country

Texoma Junior Rodeo Finals

Journey of a Lifetime: The Music of Journey @ Fat Jack’s

Arkansas Quarter Horse Show
