Fall has finally arrived in Texarkana and soon the holidays will be right around the corner. From holiday markets to inventive art shows, there are tons of fun events taking place in Texarkana, Arkansas this month.

7 Artists | 1 Night Only by Joseph Raymond Fine Art - November 7

Seven contemporary renowned artists will gather for one night only in Texarkana at the Omega Professional Building located at 216 Olive Street. The lineup of artists includes: Polly Cook, Artist, Nicole Brisco, Artist, Jon Welborn, Wood Sculptor, Joseph Raymond, Artist, Ryan T. Schmidt, Stainless Steel Sculptor, James Hayes, Glass Sculptor, and Kelly Aldrige, Artist.

First Thursday at the Museum - November 7

This is the Lindsey Railroad Museum’s second of a 12-month series on the first Thursday of the month! Join them for No Shave November as they delve into the life of a man with infamous facial hair, the inventor, politician, and railroad executive, Ambrose Burnside. 6pm. Admission is $5.

Out of the Darkness Community Walk - November 10

The Out of the Darkness walk is a fundraiser for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Join fellow community members to help save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. The walk will take place at Bobby Ferguson Park.

Junior League Mistletoe Market - November 22 - November 24

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The Junior League's holiday market attracts thousands of shoppers each year and features unique vendors, special events, and performances the entire family will enjoy. This year's event will take place at the Holiday Inn Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center.

Toys for Tots Drive at Whataburger - November 23

Bring a new, unwrapped toy to Whataburger for their Toys for Tots drive and you’ll receive a free honey butter chicken biscuit!

A Duel in Miller County - November 23

Jamie Simmons will share the story of the 1831 duel between two young men on the Southern bank of the Red River as well as the aftermath of the event. This event will take place at the P.J. Ahern Home at 403 Laurel Street in downtown Texarkana, Arkansas. Admission is free, but seating will be limited, so reservations are recommended.
