Art on the Line Juried Art Show: February 5 - March 5
This month-long show will feature work from different artists in its inaugural year. The opening gala and awards ceremony took place on February 5, and Waco-based artist Cory Lind served as a juror. The pieces are on display at the 1894 Gallery in downtown Texarkana, AR. Click here for more information about the show.
Four States Agriculture Expo: February 10
Needing a change of pace? The Four States Ag Expo may be just what you need. This year’s event will feature a full day of sessions about home gardening, livestock and forage production, pest control, and other agriculture-related topics. Admission is $10 and the event starts bright and early at 8:30 a.m. and will end around 3:15 p.m. For more information, head over to the University of Arkansas’s Division of Agriculture page.
Four States Ultimate Challenge PBR Shootout: February 12
It may not be a rodeo, but it’s close enough: the Four States Ultimate Challenge Professional Bull Riders’ Shootout is the perfect way to finish out a weekend that you hopefully started at the Four States Ag Expo. The action starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Four States Fairground, and the shootout’s Facebook page has the latest information about how to get tickets to this year’s event.
Lorrie Morgan at Crossties: February 18
As part of launching her first new album in five years, country music star and Grand Ole Opry member Lorrie Morgan is coming to Texarkana, AR, on February 18. She’ll play a show at 8:00 p.m. at Crossties. Check Crossties’ Facebook page for more info, and click here to buy tickets.
Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball: February 19
It’s time to let the good times roll! Katina R. Levingston and Tough Kookie Foundation are hosting a Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball on February 19 as a fundraiser for breast cancer and childhood cancer. Fat Tuesday Celebration at Fat Jack’s: March 1
We like to go big for Mardi Gras in the Ark-La-Tex area, so save the date for the Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday party at Fat Jack’s Oyster and Sports Bar on Tuesday, March 1. There will be live music, free beads, crawfish, and a costume contest. Check out Fat Jack’s on Facebook for updates.
Cody Hibbard at Whiskey River Country: March 4

Candlebox - Live in Texarkana: March 24
Are you ready to rock? Hopefully so! Candlebox, an American rock band out of Seattle, is taking the stage at Crossties on March 24. 2022 Texarkana Home & Garden Show: March 26
It isn’t spring in Texarkana without the annual home and garden show, and this year’s event won’t disappoint! If you’re looking for inspiration or advice for your home improvement projects, this is the place for you. Pitch It Texarkana: March 31
