For the first time, the Four States Fair and Rodeo is happening in April. Outdoor fun at Holiday Springs Water Park can begin again starting Memorial Day weekend. Four States Fair and Rodeo - April 2-11, 2021

The 76th Annual Four States Fair and Rodeo will take place April 2-11, 2021 right here in Texarkana, Arkansas at the Four States Fairgrounds. While the Four States Fair has typically been in the fall, with a new year comes a new tradition. The fair promises to bring loads of fun to Texarkana. Visitors can enjoy:

• 30th Annual Demolition Derby

Ark-La-Tex Cycling Challenge - April 3, 2021

Whether you’re a passionate cycling enthusiast or a novice, you won’t want to miss the Ark-La-Tex Challenge this spring. This one-of-a-kind ride takes you through three states in one ride and offers five distance options to accommodate different experience levels. Register online before the event or the morning of the event for $50. Registration includes an event t-shirt, breakfast, and lunch.

Gateway Farmers Market - April 10, 2021

One of the best places to find local produce and other goods in Texarkana is the Gateway Farmers Market. The market is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays during the market season. Follow them on Facebook for regular updates on the market.

Second Saturday Trade Days - April 10, 2021

On the second Saturday of each month, you can visit 1894 Gallery for Second Saturday Trade Days, a monthly market at 1894 City Market where you’ll find local artists and other vendors.

Opening Weekend at Holiday Springs Water Park - Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend this year is May 28-31, 2021 and this long holiday weekend will mark the re-opening of Holiday Springs Water Park in Texarkana, Arkansas. Texarkana’s premier water park has everything imaginable: water slides, a lazy river, jungle gyms, a wave pool, and a special pool and spa area just for the grownups. The five massive water slides, each with unique twists and turns, are the highlight of the park. Follow the park on Facebook to stay up-to-date on the parks hours and events.

Talimena Motorcycle Rally - Cruisin’ for St. Jude - May 27-29, 2021

Participate in this exciting event where you can enjoy two guided group rides, four meals, two bands, a rally t-shirt, vendors, live music, and more! The proceeds from the event go to benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Learn more about the rally and be sure to save the date!
