Gateway Farmers Market: Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday

Holiday Springs Water Park: Open all Summer through Labor Day

Holiday Springs Water Park is open for all the splashing around or lounging by the poolside you want to do this summer. Texarkana’s premier water park has everything you could want for a day in the sun: water slides, a lazy river, jungle gyms, a wave pool, and a special pool area just for the grownups. The five massive water slides, each with unique twists and turns, are the highlight of the park. 2022 National Junior Santa Gertrudis Show: June 19 - 25

From June 19 through June 25, you can catch the 2022 National Junior Santa Gertrudis Cattle Show at the Four States Fair Entertainment Center and Fairgrounds. NJSGA members compete for awards and scholarships, and there are different events scheduled every day. Learn more at santagertrudis.com.

Kim Donnette Band at The Hideout: July 2

Sit back and enjoy some rock and blues music on Saturday, July 2 at The Hideout bar, located at 311 E Broad Street in Texarkana, Arkansas. Learn more about the event here. 

Downtown Live: July 8 and August 12

On the Second Friday of each month, Main Street Texarkana hosts Downtown Live. Broad Street in downtown Texarkana will be abuzz with activity as artists perform live from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. You can watch as artists paint, draw, and dance, plus enjoy live music and food, drinks, and desserts from local Texarkana restaurants. It all takes place in the heart of the Rail Yard Entertainment District. Learn more here.

Heather Linn and The Deacons at Whiskey River Country: July 8

Featuring a mix of rock, blues, and more, Heather Linn and The Deacons are taking the stage at Whiskey River Country on July 8 at 9:00 p.m. Learn more by following Whiskey River Country’s Facebook page and check out the band’s Facebook page, too.

Dueling Pianos at Crossties: July 8

Grab some friends and enjoy an entertaining Dueling Pianos showdown at Crossties on July 8, featuring performers David Rasico and Mateo. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the show begins at 7:00 p.m. Find tickets here.

X-Treme Team Roping Razorback Classic: July 9 - 10

X-Treme members will have a chance to compete in the X-Treme Team Roping Razorback Classic on July 9 and 10. Memberships are required to compete and can be purchased on site. Check out Xtreme Roping website for more info.

Texarkana Children’s Charities Open Golf Tournament: July 13 - 16

The Texarkana Country Club is hosting the Texarkana Children’s Charities Open from July 13 through July 16. Admission is free for spectators, and the tournament is part of the All Pro Tour. Learn more about the tournament here.

Yoga Brunch Crawl: July 16

Yogis and brunch lovers, rejoice! Join Thrive Yoga for a morning of yoga at The Gallery at the Historic 1894 (formerly known as 1894 Gallery), followed by a delicious brunch at Hopkins Icehouse. Tickets are $15 and that includes an all-levels class, a complimentary beverage, local history, and fellowship!

Fire It Up Productions Team Roping: July 16 - 17

Texarkana Home Builders Association Cornhole Tournament: July 17

If you think you’ve mastered the game of cornhole, this event is calling your name! Grab a friend or family member and register for the Texarkana Home Builders Association’s Cornhole Tournament at Crossties at 2:30 p.m. on July 17! There are two brackets: one for the “pros” and one for anyone who’s playing “just for fun.” It costs $125 per two-player team, and you can register here or by calling (903) 748-9766.

Giovanni and the Hired Guns/Cody Cooke and the Bayou Outlaws at Crossties: July 21

Love live music? Don’t miss Giovanni and the Hired Guns & Cody Cooke and the Bayou Outlaws, performing live at Crossties on July 21. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and you can get tickets here. 

Palmer Anthony at Whiskey River Country: July 29

Red River Little Britches Rodeo: August 26 - 27

The Four States Fair and Entertainment Center is hosting the Red River Little Britches Rodeo on August 26 and 27. The National Little Britches Rodeo Association, which was founded in 1952, is a youth rodeo organization for kids’ ages 5 to18.
