Fun in the Sun at Holiday Springs Water Park - Season Starts June 1

Texarkana’s premier water park has everything you could want for a day in the sun: water slides, a lazy river, jungle gyms, a wave pool, and a special pool and spa area just for the grownups. The five massive water slides, each with unique twists and turns, are the highlight of the park. Follow the park on Facebook to stay up-to-date on the park's hours and events.

Kenneth Waters at Whiskey River Country - June 18

Whiskey River is a popular country bar in Texarkana, Arkansas, that hosts some of the best live music in the area. This summer, you can see Diamondback TX and Kenneth Waters playing on June 18th, the Moss Brothers on June 19th, and Tailgate Poets on August 6th. Buckcherry at Crossties - June 25

The Los Angeles-based hard rock act Buckcherry will be at Crossties Event Venue with Hinder on June 25th. Doors will open at 7 p.m. Crossties is the largest bar in Texarkana, so this is sure to be a fun concert!

A Mad Hatter Tea Party - June 26

You can get dressed up and enjoy tea at the historic P.J. Ahern Home Museum this June. Guests are asked to wear their favorite hat or go all out with an entry into the Hysterical Hat contest with their own homemade hat. This kooky event is sure to entertain, so get your tickets today!

Global Art Camp at 1894 Gallery - July 13-16 and July 20-23

1894 Gallery in downtown Texarkana is hosting an art camp this summer with classes tailored to different age groups, so kids can learn about and experience art firsthand. The cost is $125 and scholarships are available. Contact 1894 Gallery for more information.

Scooby Doo Mystery Party - July 31

If you're into mystery and crime-solving, you won't want to miss the Scooby-Doo Mystery Party at the P. J. Ahern Home Museum. "It's 1971 and the Texarkana Historical Society is working diligently to open the city's first museum. Strange things keep happening to delay the museum's opening. Accidents or sabotage? There are plenty of suspects! Join us and help the Scooby Gang solve the crime!" Tickets are on sale now.

1894 Market Trade Days - June 12

1894 Market Trade Days is Texarkana’s unique shopping experience where you can enjoy shopping, art, entertainment, food vendors, and more. It’s a favorite event for many community members to get together, shop, and enjoy all that downtown Texarkana, Arkansas, has to offer. At the June event, you can also participate in a scavenger hunt!

Gateway Farmers Market - Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays

Every Tuesday. Thursday, and Saturday from 7am - Noon, local growers and farmers gather at the Gateway Farmers Market and offer a large selection of locally grown produce, baked goods, crafts, soaps, plants, and much more. It’s the perfect way to start your weekend! Grab a latte and head to the farmers market for a day full of fun this summer.

Live Music at Fat Jack’s Oyster and Sports Bar - Multiple Dates/Times

If you love live music, you’ll want to check out Fat Jack’s Oyster and Sports Bar, where you can enjoy a variety of live music performances every month. Almost every week, they have a lineup of live music, including their Monday evening “Pickin’ on the Deck” event and Wednesday night karaoke. Haunted Texarkana Ghost Walk Tours - Multiple Dates/Times

Free Bowling for Kids at Holiday Entertainment Center - Multiple Dates/Times

All summer long, registered kids can get two free games of bowling per day during Holiday Bowl’s exciting Kids Bowl Free program! That's a family-friendly offer that’s right up our alley. For the adults wanting to get in on the bowling fun, Holiday Entertainment Center offers plenty of bowling specials for adults, like their Late Night Rock-N-Bowl every Friday night from 10 PM - 12 AM.
